Our client is seeking a Jakarta-based Business Analytics Consultant to support data-driven decision-making and portfolio optimization initiatives for consumer banking clients.

The consultant will leverage business intelligence, descriptive analytics, segmentation, benchmarking, and performance tracking methodologies to generate actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and drive business performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis using both client's data to identify business opportunities, performance trends, and areas for improvement.
• Develop customer, portfolio, and transactional segmentations to support business growth, engagement, and profitability objectives.
• Create benchmarking frameworks, rule-based models, and performance tracking mechanisms to measure business outcomes against internal and external standards.
• Perform descriptive analytics and business intelligence reporting to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Support the development of project deliverables, including analytical reports, presentations, dashboards, and management updates.
• Review analytics outputs and deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, consistency, and timeliness.
• Monitor key business metrics, performance indicators, and portfolio trends, providing insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
• Support implementation of agreed action plans and mitigation initiatives arising from project governance forums, weekly cadence meetings, and steering committees.
• Coordinate across client and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Prepare materials and updates for biweekly project reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive stakeholder presentations.
• Manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder requests while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Preferred Consultant Profile

• Native Indonesian speaker with professional proficiency in English.
• 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence, business analytics, data analytics, or related fields.
• Strong experience in descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics.
• Proficiency in analytics and database technologies such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or equivalent tools.
• Experience building, managing, and maintaining databases and reporting structures.
• Strong understanding of metrics, measurements, KPI frameworks, and benchmarking methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience within banking or financial services, preferably consumer banking.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environments.
