Our client, a leading global media and information organisation, is looking for an experienced consultant to support the delivery of an AI capability-building initiative focused on newsroom transformation, data, and technology enablement.
The engagement sits within the organisation’s strategy team and will support a high-profile initiative aimed at building practical AI capabilities across editorial, data, and technology functions.
The client is seeking someone who combines consulting experience with hands-on AI expertise and strong stakeholder management capabilities. This is a highly collaborative role suited for someone comfortable operating across strategy and execution.
This engagement will be based in Abu Dhabi and requires a native Arabic speaker who can effectively engage with regional stakeholders and support programme delivery on the ground. Candidates based in the Middle East are strongly preferred, although travel can be accommodated for the right profile.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Capability Building: Support the delivery of AI-focused capability development initiatives across newsroom, data, and technology teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions to drive engagement and adoption.
- AI Transformation Support: Provide practical guidance on AI use cases, workflows, and implementation approaches within media or enterprise environments.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between consulting, business, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery outcomes.
Background:
- Consulting Experience: Prior experience working within consulting firms or on transformation-focused engagements.
- AI Expertise: Hands-on experience delivering AI initiatives, AI transformation programmes, or capability-building projects.
- Media / Newsroom Exposure: Experience working with media organisations, newsroom transformation, or data & technology enablement initiatives is highly preferred.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Arabic Language Skills: Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication capabilities.
- Regional Experience: Based in the Middle East preferred, or open to travel to Abu Dhabi for programme delivery.
- Delivery Mindset: Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and supporting both strategic and execution-focused workstreams.
