Our client is seeking experienced Capital Markets Business Analysts to support ongoing and upcoming initiatives within their Capital Markets environment. This role will focus on driving business and technology alignment across trading, risk, and post-trade processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams
• Work across front, middle, and back office functions within Capital Markets
• Support the delivery of system enhancements, implementations, and change initiatives
• Facilitate workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis
• Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
• Assist with UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and operational requirements where applicable

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets
• Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, or FX
• Experience working across trade lifecycle processes (front to back office)
• Solid business analysis skill set, including requirements elicitation and documentation
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced project environments

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

• Exposure to trading or risk systems (any platform, not limited to Murex)
• Previous experience within banking or financial services environments
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting Capital Markets
