Project Overview

Our client, a leading player in the banking and payments sector, is seeking an experienced Product Implementation Manager with fluent Mandarin and English to support the execution, implementation, governance, and product development activities required to accelerate business cards growth.

This is a 6-month embedded engagement based in Kuala Lumpur, with the talent expected to work onsite 5 days per week at the client's office.

The successful talent will work closely with stakeholders across business, product, sales, operations, technology, compliance, and risk to translate business priorities into actionable execution plans, coordinate delivery activities, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum across initiatives. The role is execution-focused, with the talent providing hands-on delivery support and discipline under the client's direction, while final business ownership and decision-making remain with the client.

What you will be doing:

  • Translate business priorities into structured execution plans, with clear milestones, owners, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, workplans, delivery plans, and execution trackers.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business, product, technology, operations, compliance, sales, and risk to ensure initiatives remain aligned and execution-ready.
  • Support product development activities, including requirements gathering, feature definition, proposition refinement, and prioritization of business card capabilities.
  • Coordinate product inputs and requirements across relevant functions to support effective implementation.
  • Support product launch readiness, including go-to-market dependencies, operational readiness, implementation risks, and post-launch actions.
  • Manage action trackers, risk registers, dependency logs, decision records, and governance documentation.
  • Facilitate working sessions, execution checkpoints, follow-ups, and issue resolution to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Drive assigned initiatives and workstreams through execution, monitoring progress against agreed milestones and escalating blockers where required.
  • Establish and support governance forums, including preparation of steering committee materials and status reporting.
  • Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and actions, supporting reprioritization where required to remain aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and support timely decision-making across workstreams.
