Our client is looking for an experienced AI Transformation Thought Leader to lead and accelerate their AI transformation agenda across multiple African operations on a fixed-term contract basis.

This interim role will focus on establishing the strategy, governance, reporting structures, and execution framework required to drive AI adoption and measurable business impact.

Key Deliverables

• Establish a portfolio-based approach to AI transformation aligned to group standards and strategic objectives.
• Drive the execution of AI initiatives across countries, ensuring consistent progress and accountability.
• Design and implement governance, reporting processes, and executive forums from country level through to Group.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on AI transformation priorities and opportunities.
• Ensure a comprehensive handover to the incoming Head of Digital, Data & Analytics.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide AI, digital, data, or business transformation programmes.
• Strong strategic, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
• Experience working with executive leadership in complex, multi-country environments.
• Ability to quickly establish structure, momentum, and measurable outcomes.

This role is ideally suited to a senior transformation leader, consultant, or interim executive with a track record of turning AI strategy into practical business results.
