Our client is a global management consulting firm who are running a large, stakeholder intensive programme in Thailand. They are seeking a senior consultant to support programme management, stakeholder coordination, and implementation delivery. The role requires an individual who can effectively navigate complex public and privatesector environments, drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, and ensure programme activities progress on schedule.

This is a hands-on role suited to a seasoned consultant or programme manager with experience working across government, healthcare, and multi stakeholder ecosystems. The consultant will play a key role in managing dependencies, mitigating delivery risks, identifying practical solutions to unblock progress, and maintaining momentum across the programme.

The ideal candidate will bring strong PMO capability, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the credibility to engage with senior public sector representatives, healthcare professionals, NGOs, foundations, and private sector organisations.

Key Activities

• Provide PMO support and oversight across programme activities and workstreams.
• Coordinate and manage relationships across public and private sector stakeholders.
• Engage with government representatives, healthcare professionals, policy stakeholders, NGOs, foundations, and private sectororganisations.
• Drive programme execution and ensure key milestones are delivered on time.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and potential delays, implementing mitigation plans where required.
• Develop alternative solutions to keep workstreams progressing when challenges arise.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and secure timely decisions across complex governance structures.
• Support implementation planning and monitor delivery progress.
• Track actions, dependencies, and critical decisions across the programme.
• Advise on stakeholder engagement strategies and approaches to encourage timely participation and execution.
• Support fundraising activities where relevant.

Your Background

Essential

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in consulting, programme management, project management, or a related field.
• Native or highly fluent Thai speaker, with the ability to communicate professionally and formally in Thai.
• Proven experience engaging with public sector stakeholders in Thailand.
• Experience working with healthcare stakeholders, including doctors, hospitals, healthcare organisations, or policymakers.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously.
• Strong PMO experience, including planning, governance, risk management, and delivery tracking.
• Experience navigating complex government related projects and driving timely execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
• Ability to develop practical solutions to address delivery challenges and implementation delays.

Desirable

• Experience working with NGOs, foundations, and public-private partnership programmes.
• Fundraising or donor engagement experience.
• Experience designing stakeholder incentives or engagement approaches to accelerate implementation.
• Previous consulting experience within strategy, transformation, public sector, or development programmes.

Sector background: Government, healthcare, public sector, or multi-stakeholder programmes preferred.

Consulting vs industry background: Both acceptable; consulting and PMO experience strongly preferred.
