Project Overview

Our client, KPMG, is seeking a highly experienced Oracle HCM Transformation Consultant to support a large-scale Oracle HCM Fusion transformation programme. The consultant will play a critical role in shaping solution design, translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions, and guiding stakeholders through a complex enterprise-wide transformation.

Working as a senior delivery leader within a multi-year programme, the consultant will partner closely with business, HR, technology, and programme stakeholders to define future-state operating models, solution architectures, and implementation approaches. The role requires deep Oracle HCM Fusion expertise, strong financial services experience, and a proven track record delivering complex ERP and HCM transformation programmes.

The ideal consultant will bring 8-15 years of experience across enterprise transformation programmes, with significant Oracle HCM Fusion implementation expertise gained within leading consulting firms, system integrators, or large enterprise environments. Experience supporting multinational organisations and complex stakeholder landscapes will be highly advantageous.

Key Activities

• Lead Oracle HCM Fusion solution design activities across the transformation programme.
• Facilitate business requirements gathering workshops and translate requirements into scalable solution designs.
• Develop future-state business processes, operating models, and functional solution architectures.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities.
• Provide subject matter expertise across Oracle HCM Fusion modules and associated integration points.
• Support end-to-end ERP and HCM transformation delivery, from design through implementation and deployment.
• Guide stakeholders on best practice Oracle HCM Fusion capabilities and transformation approaches.
• Review and challenge solution designs to ensure scalability, sustainability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Work closely with technical teams, architects, implementation partners, and programme leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support governance processes, design authority forums, and key programme decision-making activities.
• Contribute to risk management, dependency management, and delivery planning across the programme.
• Mentor client teams and support capability transfer throughout the transformation journey.

Your Background

Essential

• 8-15 years of experience delivering enterprise transformation programmes.
• Extensive Oracle HCM Fusion implementation experience, including solution design and architecture responsibilities.
• Strong financial services industry experience.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, process design, and solution architecture workshops.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale ERP and HCM transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across executive, business, and technology audiences.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record delivering Oracle HCM Fusion programmes from design through implementation.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance while remaining hands-on in solution design activities.

• Global programme delivery experience.
• Experience supporting multinational organisations with operations across multiple countries.
• Consulting experience gained within organisations such as Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, IBM, Oracle Consulting, or similar leading system integrators.
• Experience operating within banking or broader financial services environments.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture, operating model design, and transformation governance.
• Oracle HCM Fusion certifications.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior consultants within large transformation programmes.
• Experience working on programmes with durations exceeding two years.
