Our client, a leading global payments technology company, is seeking an experienced Technology PMO Consultant to support a strategic enterprise data transformation programme for a leading financial services client in Sri Lanka. This engagement is focused on driving governance, execution excellence, and delivery oversight across a large-scale technology transformation initiative.

As the Technology PMO, you will play a critical role in establishing robust programme governance, coordinating cross-functional technology teams, and ensuring leadership has clear visibility into programme progress, risks, and dependencies. Working alongside technical and business stakeholders, you will help drive successful execution across multiple workstreams while enabling structured decision-making throughout the transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage programme governance frameworks, project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, and dependency management across multiple technology workstreams.
• Prepare executive dashboards, governance packs, status reports, and leadership presentations, providing clear visibility into programme health, KPIs, risks, and delivery progress.
• Coordinate closely with Technical Program Managers, Data Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Production Support, and business teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor programme risks, issues, dependencies, and action items, proactively escalating delivery challenges and supporting mitigation planning.
• Facilitate governance forums, steering committee meetings, project reviews, workshops, and cross-functional stakeholder communications.
• Maintain programme documentation, governance artefacts, project repositories, and support resource planning, capacity tracking, budget monitoring, and audit readiness activities.

Your Background

• 6–10 years of experience in Technology PMO, Programme Management Office, Project Coordination, Transformation Governance, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale technology, data, analytics, cloud, AI/ML, digital transformation, or enterprise transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of programme governance, project controls, RAID management, milestone tracking, dependency management, and executive reporting.
• Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Consulting, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, and project reporting tools; experience with Power BI is advantageous.

Other Info

This is a 12-month contract based on-site in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The contract duration can be extended based on project requirements and performance.
