Our client is a global consulting firm specialising in transactions, turnaround and trasformation. Their deal team based in HK and Singapore are seeking a Director level consultant with deep domain exprience in payments (specifcally e-wallets) across Asia to support a due diligence projects across HK, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The core focus of the role is to support the deal evaluation and identifiy synergies, risks and value creation opportunities.

Key requirements:

• 10+ years in e-wallet payments with strong knowledge of the Asia e-wallet market (payment operations, technology, cost structures and regulatory considerations)
• Experience of operational and financial due diligence for Asia M&A deals
• This is a remote working project with a preference for talent based in Hong Kong or Singapore. Open to talent based across APAC
• Knowledge of China, India and broader Asia e-wallet market hugely valuable in providing adjacent insights applicable for this specific deal and the transaction value
• Strong consulting tool-kit
• Synergy assessment experience is a bonus
• Understanding of core technology, cost analytics, and operational workflows relevant to payment businesses
• Ability to bridge financial and operational insights to provide comprehensive deal support

• Industry practitioners with digital payment/e-wallet experience plus an ability to work in a consulting environment
• Ex Consultants with transaction experience in financial and operational due diligence specifically within Payments and e-wallets
• M&A advisors or investors with payment deal exposure who have hands-on due diligence experience
