Our client, a global consulting firm is looking for a Senior Consultant, Delivery & Dependency Management professional to lead two related workstreams on a large-scale technology transformation programme.

The role is based in Hong Kong, predominantly on-site, hybrid for 3-months.

What you will be doing

• Track delivery milestones against the requirements and start criteria of the downstream programme; maintain a detailed dependency map.
• Identify where sequencing does not work, quantify the impact on the critical path, and propose mitigations.
• Support definition and challenge of scope, approach and milestones set by other teams.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across technology, delivery and operations teams; surface and resolve blockers before they affect downstream work.
• Support delivery mobilisation, business oversight of build progress, and design/validation of interim-state solutions.
• Produce status, milestone and risk reporting for governance forums; maintain action, decision and risk logs and drive follow-up.
• Prepare working session and workshop materials and capture outcomes in an actionable form.

Your background

• Seniority: Approx. 4 to 8 years
• Essential: Demonstrated dependency and critical-path management across teams that do not report to you (influence, not authority); experience on system separation, decommissioning, carve-out or migration work, or programmes with hard external predecessors; comfortable with technical delivery detail; strong structuring and written communication for senior audiences; hands-on with delivery tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence) and strong PowerPoint/Excel
• Nice to have: Domain exposure to customer account platforms, payments, wallets or ledgers; hybrid agile delivery experience and familiarity with agile governance; experience working alongside operations teams through technical change; Hong Kong delivery experience and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin
• Sector background: Exposure to payments or other regulated financial platforms is preferred but not essential
• Consulting vs industry: Technology consulting or complex change-programme delivery background preferred
• Project experience: Sequencing and dependency management immediately ahead of a major platform build
