Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Programme Manager / PMO to support an automotive and industrial goods transformation programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong PMO background across procurement, sourcing, or operations, with domain experience in the automotive or industrial goods sector. Tamil-speaking candidates are preferred, though not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and run the programme management office (PMO) for the client's cost reduction and sourcing programme.
• Define programme governance, reporting cadence, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Track project timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables across workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning procurement, sourcing, operations, and engineering.
• Manage risk, issue, and dependency registers; drive resolution with workstream leads.
• Prepare progress reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Support resource planning, capacity tracking, and status consolidation across the programme.
• Ensure alignment of project outputs with the overall cost transformation objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience in programme/project management or PMO roles (flexibility of +/-1–2 years can be considered).
• Strong PMO experience in any function — procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain.
• Domain experience in the automotive sector (preferred) or industrial goods.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting.
• Familiarity with PMO frameworks, governance models, and project control best practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Tamil-speaking candidates preferred; non-Tamil speakers with strong domain experience will also be considered.
