Requirement description

A leading not-for-profit disability services organisation is seeking a Salesforce Platform Manager to own the strategy, architecture and governance of its Salesforce platform, supporting service delivery, fundraising and philanthropy across the business.

This role will sit within the IT and Business Solutions team, reporting to the CIO, and focus on driving continuous improvement, platform governance and scalable delivery, while leading a team across onshore and offshore resources to support multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.

The engagement will combine platform/product strategy and ownership, architecture and governance, and delivery oversight, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder partnership, long-term platform scalability, and building team capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the current state and future direction of the Salesforce platform, aligned to the organisation's Digital Strategy
• Lead platform decisions across architecture, integration, performance and governance; establish standards and delivery frameworks
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, ensuring effective prioritisation and cost-effective, high-quality delivery
• Monitor outcomes, drive data-led decision making and ROI, and review prior platform decisions to inform improvements
• Lead, mentor and develop a Salesforce platform team spanning onshore and offshore resources
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into practical platform solutions
• Act as the senior point of contact for Salesforce across architecture, delivery and strategy

Your Background

• Extensive Salesforce experience within complex or scaling environments
• Background as a Salesforce Architect, Consultant or Analyst stepping into a product ownership role
• Proven experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Service Cloud and NFP Cloud
• Experience leading teams across onshore and offshore delivery models
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; able to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Working with Children Check (NSW) and National Police Clearance required
