Our client, a tier 1 consulting firm, is looking for experienced strategy/management consultants to support the delivery of procurement projects in Amsterdam. The ideal consultant will have prior experience at a Big 4 firm or Accenture, at Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level, with a background in Strategy or Management Consulting and hands-on experience delivering procurement projects.

The client is looking to onboard two contractors as soon as possible for an initial 6-month engagement. The consultant will support the client’s procurement-related project delivery, bringing relevant consulting expertise and experience to help drive project outcomes.

What you will be doing

• Support the delivery of procurement consulting projects from analysis through to implementation
• Drive or contribute to procurement workstreams and key project deliverables
• Apply structured consulting approaches to assess procurement opportunities and develop practical recommendations
• Work with client stakeholders to support the delivery of procurement initiatives
• Contribute to project analysis, problem-solving, and preparation of client-ready materials
• Collaborate with the wider consulting team to ensure procurement workstreams progress effectively

Your background

• Experience delivering procurement projects within a Strategy or Management Consulting environment
• Previous experience at Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level
• Background with a Big 4 firm or Accenture is preferred
• Strong experience in procurement consulting, procurement transformation, or related procurement initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage or contribute to procurement workstreams
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project delivery capabilities
