The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for building and enhancing Group Fintech’s data and analytics capabilities through automated data pipelines, advanced analytics, and data-driven insights. The role supports the Fintech product strategy by developing reporting, predictive models, and decision frameworks that drive business growth, operational performance, and customer value across Group and OpCo markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Fintech analytics and reporting roadmap.
- Build, automate, and optimise data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and BI solutions.
- Develop predictive, machine learning, and advanced analytics models to support business growth, customer targeting, fraud detection, and risk management.
- Design dashboards, scorecards, and visualisations that provide meaningful business insights.
- Analyse internal and external datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Technology, Finance, CVM, Operations, and Product teams to enhance data capabilities and support strategic initiatives.
- Support A/B testing, process optimisation, forecasting, and decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for leadership forums and committees.
- Drive best-practice analytics methodologies, governance, and data management standards across Group Fintech and Opcos.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
Experience
- 5+ years' experience in analytics, data science, financial services, consulting, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.
- Experience working within Agile/DevOps environments and large, complex organisations.
- Exposure to financial services, banking, telecommunications, or fintech environments is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, SAS, R, or Scala.
- Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, and data visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Apache Spark.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL.
