Our client, KPMG, is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to support a large-scale finance transformation programme. The consultant will play a key role in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials solutions, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable, system-enabled finance processes.

Working closely with finance leadership, business stakeholders, and technical delivery teams, the consultant will support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle across multiple Oracle Fusion Financials modules. The role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and experience delivering finance transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.

The ideal consultant will bring proven Oracle Fusion Financials implementation experience, deep knowledge of finance processes, and a consulting-led approach to driving business and technology change.

Key Activities

• Lead finance process design workshops across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Enterprise Performance Management.
• Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion Financials solution designs.
• Define and configure Chart of Accounts, financial structures, hierarchies, accounting rules, and sub-ledger integrations.
• Configure Oracle Fusion Financials modules in accordance with approved solution designs.
• Support the full project lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration activities, reporting solutions, and system interfaces.
• Support the development of reporting and analytics solutions using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Define, coordinate, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage defect resolution activities and support solution refinement throughout the testing phase.
• Assist with deployment planning, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
• Engage with CFO teams, finance leaders, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor on finance best practices and Oracle-enabled transformation opportunities.
• Produce and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to programme governance, controls, and delivery standards.

Your Background

Essential

• 5–10+ years of experience delivering finance systems and ERP transformation projects.
• Proven Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation experience, including at least 1–2 end-to-end implementations.
• Strong functional expertise across multiple Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Projects, and/or EPM.
• Deep understanding of core finance processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Experience defining financial structures, Chart of Accounts, accounting rules, and sub-ledger integrations.
• Strong understanding of data migration, system integration, and ERP delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Experience working within large-scale ERP or finance transformation programmes.

Desirable

• Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certifications, including GL, FCCS, or related modules.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management solutions including FCCS and EDMCS.
• Experience working within multinational or multi-entity organisations.
• Consulting experience gained within a Big 4 firm, boutique consultancy, or systems integrator.
• Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related degree.
• Experience developing reporting and analytics solutions using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and broader Oracle ecosystem solutions.
