Project Overview

A global automotive organisation is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist to support the delivery and optimisation of its CRM marketing initiatives.


This is a hands-on role suited to a specialist who can operate as both a doer and problem solver, combining strong technical capability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. The consultant will play a key role in executing campaigns, building customer journeys, and ensuring smooth day-to-day SFMC operations.


This is a 12-month contract (with a strong likelihood to extend), starting ASAP. The role will be fully remote.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy eDM campaigns using SFMC (Email Studio / Content Builder)
  • Develop and manage customer journeys and automations using Journey Builder and Automation Studio
  • Write and optimise AMPscript and SQL queries for personalisation, segmentation, and data manipulation
  • Support audience segmentation through effective use of data extensions and underlying data structures
  • Troubleshoot campaign, journey, and data-related issues, providing timely and practical solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SFMC solutions
  • Develop CloudPages and support execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Design and implement push notifications and complex, multi-step triggered journeys across the customer lifecycle


Your Background

Essential:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio)
  • Strong capability in AMPscript and SQL
  • Solid understanding of data models, data extensions, and database fundamentals
  • Experience building and optimising customer journeys and campaign automations
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve SFMC-related issues
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently


Desirable:

  • SFMC certifications (e.g. Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, Consultant)
  • Experience working in fast-paced CRM or digital marketing environments
