Relevant areas of expertise

We are particularly interested in independent professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Processor migration across issuing and/or acquiring platforms.
• Token vault migration, network tokenisation, and PCI-DSS considerations.
• Large-scale data migration from legacy card or payment systems.
• Large payment scheme certification.
• Production cutover, go/no-go planning, rollback planning, and post-go-live support.
• Technical business analysis across payments, cards, banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Quality assurance, test planning, defect management, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Payment flows, transaction routing, APIs, system integrations, reconciliation, and operational readiness.

Your Background

Essential

• Experience in payments, banking, cards, fintech, payment processing, or regulated financial services.
• Experience supporting large-scale migration, transformation, platform implementation, system integration, or technology delivery programmes.
• Hands-on exposure to processor migration, tokenisation, data migration, scheme certification, cutover, technical business analysis, or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction flows, card issuing/acquiring, APIs, data flows, system integrations, or operational processes.
• Ability to work across business, technology, operations, compliance, risk, product, vendor, and delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating independently in complex, fast-paced, and regulated project environments.

Desirable

• UK payments or UK financial services market experience.
• Exposure to PCI-DSS, token vault migration, network tokenisation, digital wallets, or digital payment channels.
• Experience across both issuing and acquiring platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Xray, ALM, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Prior consulting, contractor, or independent project delivery experience.
