Key Activities

• Lead and support procurement?led cost?out initiatives using structured sourcing and spend optimisation methodologies.
• Design and execute strategic sourcing approaches across priority categories.
• Analyse spend data, supplier landscapes, and commercial levers to identify savings opportunities.
• Integrate quickly into fast?paced project teams and deliver at top?tier consulting standards.
• Coach and develop junior consultants through hands?on delivery and capability transfer.
• Support client stakeholders through complex sourcing and negotiation processes.
• Contribute to embedding procurement best practices and repeatable methodologies within client teams.

Your Background

Essential

• Strong consulting background with deep expertise in procurement and sourcing methodologies.
• Proven experience delivering cost?out or margin?improvement programmes.
• Ability to operate at pace and integrate seamlessly into high?expectation consulting environments.
• Excellent problem?solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Mindset of a player?coach, with interest in developing others and transferring capability.

Tier 1 – Manager / Senior Consultant Profiles

• 5–10 years’ total experience.
• Hands?on delivery experience across sourcing, category strategy, and supplier negotiations.

Tier 2 – Principal / Senior Expert Profiles

• 15–20 years’ experience.
• Track record leading large procurement transformations or cost?out programmes.
• Comfortable owning senior client relationships and complex delivery agendas.

Desirable

• Background from boutique or specialist consulting firms (preferred over Big Four).
• Sector exposure to mining, logistics/transportation, or infrastructure.
• Experience working across Australia and/or Singapore markets.
