Project Overview

Our client is an established and highly reputable consulting firm focused on Change and Organisational Design, with offices in Melbourne and Sydney. They are seeking a Change Management / Org Design consultant to join their consulting team in Melbourne in a permanent capacity.

This role is suited to individuals who enjoy working across a variety of transformation engagements, partnering closely with clients to deliver tangible outcomes. You will be part of a high-performing team supporting organisations through periods of change, with the opportunity to contribute across multiple industries, programs, and problem statements over time.

Working in a hybrid model, you will engage directly with clients while also collaborating internally to shape approaches, develop capability, and contribute to the firm’s broader transformation offering. This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who is equally comfortable structuring problems, engaging stakeholders, and delivering outcomes on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of transformation engagements, working closely with clients to plan and execute change initiatives that drive adoption and business outcomes.
  • Design and deliver change activities including stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and adoption planning, tailored to each client’s context.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, navigating complex environments and influencing outcomes across different levels of an organisation.
  • Apply structured thinking to diagnose challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical, implementable solutions.
  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to project delivery, sharing insights, and supporting junior team members where required.
  • Contribute to internal capability building, including developing methodologies, tools, and thought leadership within the transformation and change practice.

Your Background

Essential:

  • 5-8 years’ experience in change management, transformation, or program delivery within consulting or similar environments
  • Strong consulting toolkit, including structured problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience working across multiple clients or projects, managing competing priorities

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience within a recognised consulting firm
  • Exposure to large-scale transformation programs
