Kamet Ventures is a venture builder with a focus on Insurtech. One of their portfolio companies is building an AI-native claims service for general insurance businesses, and for this they seek a commercial property insurance claims expert with 10+ years of experience.

A flexible arrangement is sought at first, to establish credibility and cultural fit. If it works, this contract is likely to last more than 12 months.

This is a remote contract, and the chosen consultant must be able to work European time, as you will engage with team members across Europe and the Middle East.

Background and skills sought:

• Deep expertise in commercial property insurance claims, and an understanding not only of process but the thinking behind claims processes and assessment criteria
• Very strong general insurance understanding
• Experience with large and/or multinational general insurance carriers is preferable
• You should be adaptable, enjoy finding new solutions and the use of technology, and great at teamwork
• Open-minded, creative and comfortable advising on product outputs beyond traditional claims handling
• Sufficient experience and standing to challenge old workflows and suggest improvements
