Our client, a global consulting firm, is working with a prominent Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) to drive innovation in digital lending solutions. This engagement is part of a broader digital transformation initiative aimed at modernizing the NBFC's consumer-facing mobile app, incorporating AI-driven features to enhance user engagement, streamline processes, and boost operational efficiency.
In this role, the consultant will serve as a key Product Manager, partnering closely with the client to revamp the app's user journeys, embed advanced AI capabilities, and optimize features for seamless customer experiences. Their contributions will directly impact the NBFC's ability to deliver personalized lending services, reduce friction in user flows, and drive higher adoption rates, ultimately supporting the client's growth in the competitive fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client teams to redefine user stories, enhance app journeys, and integrate AI features such as personalization engines, recommendation models, and AI-assisted underwriting.
- Design frictionless consumer flows with a focus on superior UX, including conceptualization and prioritization of features like pre-approved offers, repeat loans, cross-sell opportunities, nudges, and in-app engagement.
- Conduct funnel analytics, experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), and data-led decision-making to own product metrics and optimize user retention and conversion.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, risk, tech, IT, business, and product teams to program manage app builds and ensure alignment on application design.
- Partner with stakeholders to embed AI-enabled product thinking, such as conversational journeys and in-app copilots, while addressing digital marketing aspects like funnel optimization and drop-off reduction.
Your Background
- 4–5 years of core product management experience, with hands-on expertise in app design and build, ideally from fintech lending platforms (e.g., Navi, Moneyview, KreditBee) or top tech startups (e.g., Dezerv, ET Money, Practo).
- Proven track record in defining user stories and journeys in mobile app environments, with deep insights into customer usage, preferences, and UX principles.
- Experience collaborating in agile settings with engineering, design, analytics, and risk teams, including building and delivering AI-enabled features.
- Strong exposure to data-driven decision-making, product metrics ownership, and funnel analytics/experimentation.
- Bonus: Knowledge of digital marketing (e.g., funnel optimization, journey personalization) and the digital personal loan lifecycle (e.g., onboarding, KYC, underwriting, disbursal).
- Relevant educational background in business, technology, or related fields, with sector experience in fintech or digital consumer products.
