Our client is looking for a detail oriented and analytically strong professional to support Commission, Pricing, and Reinsurance functions within their product administration environment. The role involves validating system calculations, improving operational efficiency, drafting technical change documentation, and engaging with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commission
- Perform checking and/or testing of commission calculations within the administration system.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate system outputs.
- Verify results, identify discrepancies, and manage defect resolution.
- Contribute to process efficiency improvements within the commission workflow.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including:
- Product & Pricing Teams
- Scrum Masters
- IT Teams
- Servicing Teams
- Prepare and complete a structured handover of all commission?related work to internal stakeholders.
2. Pricing
- Perform checking and/or testing of premium calculations produced by the administration system.
- Create and maintain test cases to confirm accuracy and consistency of pricing outputs.
- Investigate issues, validate system corrections, and manage the defect lifecycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements across pricing?related operations.
- Engage with cross?functional teams, including:
- Product Teams
- Underwriting
- Scrum Masters
- IT
- Servicing Teams
- Complete handover documentation and transition activities of pricing work to internal stakeholders.
3. Reinsurance
- Perform checking and/or testing of reinsurance premium calculations and claims recovery calculations generated by the administration system.
- Develop test scenarios and validate results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage defects through investigation, logging, tracking, and retesting.
- Drive process efficiency improvements within reinsurance calculation workflows.
- Draft Change Requests (CRs) when system changes or enhancements are required.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Ability to design structured test cases and interpret system outputs.
- Experience working with administration systems (insurance or financial services advantageous).
- Knowledge of product, pricing, or reinsurance concepts beneficial.

Qualifications
- A degree in Actuarial Science, and a good exam progression.
- Experience in insurance, product testing, or system validation preferred.
