With operations across North America and the Indo-Pacific, the firm supports strategy and growth initiatives for highly specialized industrial and defence-related clients.
The firm is seeking an Associate-level consultant to support a strategy and execution engagement focused on electronics and specialized components manufacturing. The immediate mandate is to help a client accelerate growth in North America for a niche, high-value component offering.
This role is research- and analysis-heavy, well-suited for someone with strong analytical skills and experience within industrial, manufacturing, components-based sectors other relevant industries. The engagement is expected to begin with a strategy phase, with the potential to continue into implementation support.
Project Objective / Scope
- Support a growth strategy engagement for an electronics/components manufacturing client
- Conduct market analysis and segmentation to identify priority growth opportunities in North America
- Translate strategic findings into practical inputs that can support downstream execution
Engagement Structure
Strategy Phase (4–6 weeks)
- Market sizing, segmentation, and competitive analysis
- Customer and application mapping for specialized components
- Support development of growth hypotheses and strategic recommendations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform market research and data-driven analysis across industrial / components markets
- Support segmentation, growth prioritization, and opportunity sizing
- Develop clear, structured outputs to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct research “lift” work to enable senior team members to focus on synthesis and client engagement
- Support both strategy development and execution-oriented follow-through
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Associate-level consultant or equivalent
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, electronics, components, or adjacent sectors
- Comfortable with market analysis, segmentation, and strategy support work
- Prior strategy consulting or advisory experience preferred, but strong industry-aligned research backgrounds will be considered
