Project Overview
This engagement supports a large Australian general insurance provider undergoing a multi-year transformation of its Guidewire Claims platform as part of a broader core systems modernisation. The consultant will join established delivery squads working on an in-flight Guidewire Claims implementation, with Australia commencing following a recent New Zealand production release. The role focuses on translating complex business and technical requirements into clear specifications to support cloud-based Guidewire delivery
Key Activities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for Guidewire Claims transformation initiatives
- Translate complex system, integration, and data flow requirements into clear, actionable specifications
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery squads within an Agile delivery model
- Support Guidewire Claims cloud implementation activities, including migration and post-production refinement
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to align requirements with agreed delivery roadmaps
- Contribute to backlog definition, refinement, and prioritisation in collaboration with delivery teams
Your Background
Essential:
- Guidewire Claims platform experience
- Guidewire Claims ACE Business Analyst certification
- Minimum five years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within large, delivery-focused organisations
- Strong technical and integration analysis capability, including APIs, system interactions, and data flows
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Desirable:
- Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter or BillingCenter
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations
- Experience supporting on-premise to cloud or major Guidewire version migrations
