Our client, a Global Payments Firm is currently carrying out a project for a leading bank in Qatar. To support with this, our client is looking to onboard a Corporate Payments Product & Business Development Specialist to join their team.
The selected individual would be required to accelerate the growth and innovation of the end client’s Corporate & SME Cards portfolio through the scheme's commercial payment solutions — In Control for Commercial Payments (ICCP), In Control for Mobile Payments (ICMP), SmartData ERPs integrations, C2A solutions etc.
The role blends: 1) product management and 2) business development, focusing on virtual-card adoption, and portfolio growth (GDV, active usage, and customer acquisition).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Management
- Manage end-to-end continuous corporate cards payment solutions product development, including testing, implementation, and client enablement.
- Oversee ICCP, ICMP, APIs, Batch payments, ERPs and expense-management integrations to streamline client payment automation.
- Collaborate closely with the scheme, IT, and Bank’s internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
- Prepare business cases, market insights, and progress reports for senior management.
Business Development
- Identify and convert business opportunities to achieve GDV growth KPIs, portfolio penetration, and revenue targets.
- Drive commercialization and client adoption of the scheme's corporate payment solutions (ICCP, ICMP, SmartData).
- Lead high-impact presentations and business reviews with C-level executives at key corporate clients.
- Support RM teams with technical and commercial proposals for large corporate or institutional clients.
- Act as Corporate Cards RM for key accounts – own corporate cards portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have criteria
- Proven exposure to ICCP, ICMP, SmartData.
- Solid analytical and portfolio-management skills with measurable success in driving GDV and revenue growth.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging at C-suite level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Nice to have criteria
- GCC experience in a large bank handling Corporate Payment Solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate/commercial card products.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across business, operations, IT, and external partners.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic as a plus, not mandatory.
- Experience with TSYS Prime.
This is a 12 months contractual role based in Doha, Qatar.
