Our client is looking for a Senior Consultant to support the delivery of a First Line GRC Maturity Assessment in the Financial Services sector. The role will help evaluate the maturity and effectiveness of first line governance, risk, and control practices within a regulated banking environment, focusing on operational and enterprise risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of a First Line GRC Maturity Assessment across business units
• Assist in assessing operational risk management practices, internal controls, and first line risk ownership
• Help evaluate alignment with the enterprise risk management framework
• Identify gaps and contribute to actionable recommendations to improve first line risk practices
• Prepare clear findings and support reporting for management and risk committees
• Engage with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders to validate information and findings
• Contribute to project planning, tracking, and delivery activities

Key Skills & Experience

• Operational risk management and/or internal audit experience within Financial Services or banking
• Exposure to enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks
• Understanding of banking and Financial Services risk and regulatory environments
• Experience supporting risk or GRC assessments is advantageous
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
