Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Angular Developer to join their dynamic IT team on a 6 month project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality frontend solutions, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and a superior user experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within an Agile Working Model (AWM) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery:

• Rapidly experiment with multiple solutions to address business requirements.
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs using modern frontend frameworks.
• Develop reusable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript logic.
• Ensure code is readable, maintainable, extendable, and scalable.
• Maintain and adapt stylesheets where necessary.
• Ensure handover of implementations is seamless for other developers.
• Refine frontend behavior for a polished, high-quality user experience.
• Evaluate user requirements, propose system designs, and assess alternatives.
• Review and present proposed system solutions to IT Project Managers and System Owners.
• Develop system solutions in line with delivery and quality expectations.

Maintenance & Support:

• Present proposed solutions to the User Organisation.
• Prepare technical/system documentation, user manuals, and operational guides.
• Conduct user training sessions.
• Perform system testing, unit testing, and parallel runs.
• Implement system updates and ensure quality assurance audits.
• Obtain user sign-off on completed projects.

General Responsibilities:

• Coordinate between development and support environments.
• Assist with business case development, planning, and project monitoring.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable tasks.
• Gather, analyze, manage, and communicate requirements effectively.
• Assist with risk identification and management.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned within the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Frontend Technologies: Angular 17+, Typescript, Playwright, HTML/CSS, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Node.js. React experience is advantageous.
• Tools: Azure, Git/GitHub, Docker, DevOps.
• Strong understanding of integration between different technologies.
• Excellent coordination skills between development and support teams.
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and processing.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and translate requirements effectively.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Relevant IT degree or certification.
