Project Overview

Our client, a top-tier global consulting firm, is seeking 1–3 consultants with fluent Bahasa Indonesia to support an ongoing project in Jakarta.

The engagement will run from 2 or 9 November until 18 December 2026. Consultants must be based in Jakarta and available to work on-site 5 days a week.

The project will prioritise consultants with experience in the energy, shipping or agriculture industries, particularly those with exposure to commodities, shipping operations or new entity set-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project execution and day-to-day activities in Jakarta, working closely with the consulting team and relevant stakeholders.
• Apply industry knowledge across energy, shipping, agriculture or related commodities sectors to support project requirements.
• Contribute relevant experience in commodities, shipping operations and/or new entity set-up, where applicable.
• Work closely with the project team and local stakeholders in Bahasa Indonesia.
• Deliver project activities on-site in Jakarta throughout the engagement period.

Consultant Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional working experience.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
• Experience in the energy, shipping or agriculture industries is preferred.
• Experience in commodities, shipping or new entity set-up is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Jakarta 5 days a week for the full engagement period.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a consulting project environment.
