Project Overview

Our client, a leading global payments technology company, is looking to onboard an experienced Portfolio Consultant to support its Cards Portfolio and Campaign Management function. Working closely with the client's portfolio and product teams, the consultant will play a key role in driving customer activation, engagement, retention, and portfolio growth through targeted campaign strategies.

As part of the client's portfolio optimisation initiatives, the consultant will help design, execute, and monitor card portfolio campaigns while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a client-facing role with significant ownership over campaign execution, stakeholder management, and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute portfolio and campaign strategies focused on customer activation, engagement, retention, and portfolio growth.
  • Design campaign frameworks, define target customer segments, and support campaign execution across multiple communication channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance, establish governance and reporting frameworks, and recommend improvements based on campaign outcomes.
  • Partner closely with portfolio, product, marketing, and cross-functional teams to align campaign objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage client deliverables, project timelines, stakeholder communication, and engagement governance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate business requirements and data-driven insights into structured recommendations and executive-ready project deliverables.

Your Background

  • 5–7 years of experience in cards portfolio management, campaign management, or product/portfolio marketing, preferably within the banking, payments, or financial services industry.
  • Hands-on experience managing credit and/or debit card portfolio campaigns, customer lifecycle initiatives, or portfolio growth programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills, with experience working directly with senior business stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business insights into actionable campaign strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification in Marketing or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment.

Other Info

This is a client-site engagement based in Mumbai, with an expected 09-month contract and potential for extension based on business requirements.
