Project Overview

A leading consulting firm is supporting a major banking institution in the Philippines on an embedded finance product development initiative.

The existing engagement is entering an extension phase, with the client seeking additional on-ground delivery support to help coordinate implementation activities and progress the product towards pilot launch.

The consultant will work closely with the consulting team and the bank’s stakeholders, supporting the execution of key workstreams across partner onboarding, implementation coordination, PMO activities and go-to-market readiness.

The role requires a hands-on banking implementation practitioner who can navigate institutional processes, manage stakeholders and adapt to evolving delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and extension of an embedded finance product within a large banking institution.
• Coordinate on-ground delivery activities and work closely with the bank’s teams to manage implementation requirements and dependencies.
• Support partner onboarding and facilitate coordination between the bank, partners and project stakeholders.
• Provide PMO support, including meeting preparation, documentation, action tracking and follow-ups.
• Assist with preparing field teams for pilot launch, including training and operational readiness activities.
• Support go-to-market planning and execution for the embedded finance product.
• Work alongside the consulting team to manage changing priorities and ensure smooth coordination across workstreams.
• Help navigate institutional processes, approvals and stakeholder requirements to maintain delivery momentum.

Ideal Consultant Profile

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking implementation, financial services consulting, PMO or project delivery.
• Consulting background preferred, particularly experience supporting large institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, implementation processes and stakeholder management.
• Experience coordinating delivery activities across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Ability to operate in a hybrid PMO and execution-focused role, with a hands-on approach to implementation.
• Experience supporting product launches, partner onboarding, field-team readiness or go-to-market activities would be advantageous.
• Philippines-based talent with local banking project experience is strongly preferred.
• Embedded finance expertise is not essential, provided the consultant has relevant banking implementation experience.
