Project Overview

Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is currently partnering with a prominent player in the building materials industry on a high-impact engagement focused on driving sales acceleration and strengthening their go-to-market (GTM) strategy. This initiative is part of a broader growth transformation agenda aimed at unlocking new revenue streams and improving market penetration across key regions.


As part of this engagement, the client is looking to onboard an experienced Sales / GTM Strategy Consultant who will play a critical role in shaping and executing growth strategies. The consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and support on-ground implementation to achieve measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a specific module within the overall growth and GTM strategy, contributing to key strategic decisions
  • Execute core project workstreams, including problem structuring, analysis, and content development
  • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned tasks, leveraging structured project management approaches
  • Present insights, recommendations, and progress updates to senior client stakeholders
  • Support implementation of recommended initiatives and ensure effective execution on the ground
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships across client and consulting teams


Your Background

  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred
  • 8–15 years of experience in sales, GTM strategy, or consulting roles
  • Strong experience in building materials, FMCG, or FMCD sectors
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth, distribution expansion, or GTM transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience working with consulting firms or in high-impact project environments is a plus


Other Information

This is a 6–12-month contractual opportunity, with is a strong possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements. The role is based out of Kolkata (consulting model available), and the selected consultant will be expected to relocate and travel based on client requirements as part of the project.
