Project Overview

Our client, a global payments firm, is looking for an experienced Product Manager (Credit Cards) to support a key card product launch initiative. This is a hands-on role requiring end-to-end product management experience, from product approvals through to launch execution.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead product approval and governance processes, coordinating with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Drive approval workflows by tracking milestones, managing dependencies, and resolving blockers to ensure timely sign-offs.
  • Partner with Marketing and Marcom teams to translate product decisions into effective launch communications, ensuring alignment on messaging, creative assets, channels, and timelines.
  • Develop, adapt, and coordinate product training materials and readiness sessions for sales, branch, and frontline teams.
  • Manage end-to-end product launch activities, including launch checklists, UAT coordination, cutover planning, and Go/No-Go readiness.
  • Act as the central point of coordination across Product, Operations, Technology, Marketing, and other stakeholders throughout the launch lifecycle.
  • Support post-launch monitoring and ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.


Requirements

  • 5–7 years of Product Management experience within banking or financial services.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing the full credit card product lifecycle, from product approval through launch.
  • Proven experience working with governance forums, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing/Marcom teams to deliver successful product launches.
  • Familiarity with UAT coordination, launch readiness activities, and Go/No-Go decision processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Credit card product management experience is essential.


Engagement Details

  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Working arrangement: On-site (5 days per week)
