A specialist financial advice technology firm is seeking a senior Delivery Lead to oversee implementation workstreams for institutional clients in the financial advice sector. This is a structured, multi-phase engagement running in four to six month blocks across a two-year implementation program, with a project team of six to eight. The client base includes major Australian financial institutions, and the work demands both strong delivery rigour and polished client relationship management.

The successful talent will bring a track record of leading complex technology implementations in financial services, with the credibility to hold accountability for outcomes in a high-stakes, client-visible environment.

Key Activities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across assigned implementation phases, maintaining program momentum and quality standards
• Act as the primary delivery point of contact for institutional client stakeholders, managing expectations and escalations with composure
• Own delivery governance including planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting
• Partner with internal technical leads and cross-functional team members to align delivery approach with technical constraints and client requirements
• Facilitate client workshops and steering sessions, driving decisions and maintaining forward progress
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes in a scaling, fast-moving technology business

Your Background

Essential

• Senior delivery or program management experience within financial advice technology implementations at an Australian financial institution or equivalent
• Strong understanding of financial advice processes, regulation, and the compliance environment governing advice businesses
• Proven track record managing client-facing delivery in a structured, institutional context — not purely internal program delivery
• Demonstrated ability to lead small, high-performing teams through complex, multi-phase implementation cycles
• Composure and executive presence to represent the delivery function credibly with senior client stakeholders

Desirable

• Background in management consulting (e.g. KPMG, Accenture, McKinsey, Bain) or technology consulting with a financial services focus
• Experience working within a technology vendor or implementation partner environment
• Familiarity with integrated advice platform ecosystems and technology integration programs
