Our client is a fast-growing Series A fintech startup focused on transforming the digital payments ecosystem through a one-click checkout solution that enables zero-fee, instant, and seamless transactions powered by open banking infrastructure. The organization is building a new Pay-by-Bank category, partnering with leading players across banking, telecom, F&B, and digital services to redefine the online payment experience.


They are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, communication, and go-to-market execution. This role will focus on building and scaling the brand from the ground up, crafting compelling narratives, and driving high-impact campaigns that align with product innovation and customer needs. The position is highly strategic and execution-focused, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


This is expected to be an initial 3–4 month engagement (part-time), with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The role can be remote initially, with potential relocation or travel to Jakarta post the trial period.


Responsibilities


Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and develop brand identity, positioning, and messaging within a new payments category
  • Build and scale brand narrative from 0?1, ensuring strong differentiation in the market
  • Act as custodian of brand guidelines and communication frameworks

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute brand awareness campaigns across digital and offline channels
  • Drive integrated marketing communications including PR, content, social media, and events
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies with clear KPIs and measurable ROI
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all customer touchpoints

Creative & Content Leadership

  • Lead creative strategy and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies
  • Develop high-impact creative briefs for campaigns, product launches, and PR initiatives
  • Oversee content creation including ad copies, visuals, and storytelling assets
  • Drive experimentation and A/B testing to optimize performance

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product, growth, analytics, design, and partnerships teams
  • Translate product features into compelling customer-facing narratives
  • Align stakeholders across functions to ensure cohesive brand execution

Customer & Market Insights

  • Leverage customer data, research, and feedback to refine messaging and positioning
  • Monitor competitive landscape, including pricing, product features, and market trends
  • Identify new customer segments and test innovative acquisition strategies

Brand Growth & Representation

  • Represent the brand at industry events to build thought leadership
  • Strengthen brand presence through partnerships and ecosystem collaborations
  • Drive initiatives to establish category leadership in digital payments


Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in consumer-facing technology or fintech
  • Proven experience building brands from 0?1 and scaling established brands
  • Strong experience in data-driven marketing and performance measurement
  • Experience managing creative development from concept to execution
  • MBA from a premier institute preferred
