Project Overview

We are working with a top tier global consulting firm to support the delivery of a large-scale transformation for a Telecom client based out of Malaysia.


This is a 5-year programme focused on AI revenue transformation and acceleration. They have already spent a year building out the key assets and have mobilised a 20–30-person cross functional team (data, tech, consulting) based in KL. They now require practitioners with proven hands-on experience across a number of expertise areas to join them to help scale and drive value out of what has been built in phase 1.


To support this effort, the client is seeking a Transformation delivery and PMO consultant with a consulting background to drive day-to-day execution across AI and digital initiatives. The role is Kuala Lumpur–based and on-site, offered as a 6-month contract starting as soon as possible (May 2026). The consultant will act as a central coordination and execution lead, supporting delivery, governance, stakeholder alignment, and change adoption. Success will be assessed by timely delivery of milestones, effective stakeholder coordination, and smooth rollout and adoption of solutions.


What you will be doing

  • Drive execution of AI and digital initiatives across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage integrated workplans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Support governance routines, including working sessions, steering forums, and senior leadership reviews.
  • Work closely with business, technology, data, and vendor teams to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Support solution rollout, testing, and performance tracking across multiple channels (e.g. telesales, mobile app, chatbot, retail).
  • Act as the day-to-day coordination point across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare concise updates, materials, and status reporting for leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops and alignment discussions to unblock delivery issues.
  • Support change management activities, including communications and adoption tracking.
  • Work closely with frontline teams to understand operational realities and address adoption challenges.


Your background

  • 2–5 years’ consulting experience, ideally from firms such as Big 4, Accenture, or similar.
  • Strong PMO and execution skills, including planning, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Structured analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capability.
  • Proven ability to synthesise complex topics into clear, concise communications.
  • Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams, particularly in pilot or test-and-learn environments.
  • Exposure to digital, analytics, AI, or large-scale business transformation initiatives is desirable.
  • Prior experience in telecommunications or technology sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); fluency in Bahasa Melayu is a plus.
