Our client, a leading global snacks company, is seeking an ESG Data & Sourcing Analyst to support its regional Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability initiatives on a 6-month contract. This high-visibility role involves managing supplier engagement and analyzing data related to responsible sourcing and sustainability to ensure compliance with global and regional goals across AMEA.

Reporting to the Director of Responsible Sourcing for AMEA, this role works closely with procurement and supply chain functions. The independent will consolidate, analyze, and visualize data to support strategic decision-making while collaborating with senior stakeholders, including regional procurement leaders and CPOs.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to collect, validate, and manage large volumes of data related to responsible sourcing and sustainability metrics.

• Standardizing and integrating data across multiple platforms (e.g., SAP, Excel) to support traceability and sustainability certifications.

• Simplifying and enhancing data visualization and reporting processes using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Supporting supplier engagement initiatives, including:

• Conducting compliance checks for certifications (e.g., deforestation claims, ethical labor practices, recycled materials certifications).

• Tracking supplier performance and sustainability metrics.

• Providing actionable insights on metrics such as carbon emissions, social responsibility, and traceability to aid procurement decision-making.

• Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies by working closely with BU stakeholders and data providers.

• Maintaining and improving sustainability-related reporting frameworks, such as CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) and Sedex

Your Background:

• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including macros and Power Query.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with data integration platforms like SAP or SQL.

Mandatory Experience:

• A must to have either ESG/Sustainability expertise in topics such as deforestation, human rights due diligence, sourcing, supplier engagement, or climate reporting. This can include professional projects, certifications, coursework, or voluntary initiatives. OR FMCG/consumer goods industry experience, particularly in data-related roles that interface with supply chain or sourcing functions.

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across geographies and functions.
