Our client, a global consulting firm is looking for a senior Delivery and Technology Facilitation professional to lead two related workstreams on a large-scale technology transformation programme.

The role is based in Hong Kong, predominantly on-site, hybrid for 3-months.

What you will be doing

• Own the approach, plan and milestones for two workstreams: critical-path delivery dependency facilitation, and architecture and solution design facilitation
• Lead a small team of two consultants, including allocating work, managing performance and reviewing outputs to ensure client-ready quality
• Facilitate and challenge scope, approach and milestones set by other teams; run working sessions and workshops to drive decisions.
• Maintain a credible view of technical and delivery dependencies on the critical path; escalate slippage early with options
• Shape and maintain the technology book of work, aligning architecture, product, delivery and wider business stakeholders.
• Prepare and quality-assure reporting for programme governance and board-level forums, and represent both workstreams in these forums

Your background

• Seniority: Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience, including experience leading a small team.
• Essential: Track record on large, multi-workstream platform programmes with hard external dependencies; strong facilitation and challenge skills; comfortable operating at the business/technology interface; experience with programme governance and board-level reporting; experience managing dependencies related to legacy system separation, decommissioning or migration; excellent written English and strong PowerPoint/Excel skills.
• Nice to have: Hong Kong or Greater China delivery experience and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin; vendor selection (RFI/RFP) and vendor management exposure; regulated consumer-facing platform experience (e.g. financial services, payments); agile / scaled-agile delivery experience.
• Sector background: Experience in regulated, consumer-facing platform environments (e.g. financial services/payments) is preferred but not essential.
• Consulting vs. industry: Management consulting background strongly preferred, reflecting the facilitation and senior stakeholder management nature of the role.
• Project experience: Large-scale, multi-workstream technology/platform transformation programmes.
