We are working with a top tier global consulting firm to support the delivery of a large scale transfomation for a Telecom client based out of Malaysia.

This is a 5 year programme focused on AI revenue transformation and acceleration. They have already spent a year building out the key assets and have mobilised a 20-30 person cross functional team (data, tech, consulting) based in KL. They now require practitioners with proven hands on experience across a number of expertise areas to join them to help scale and drive value out of what has been built in phase 1.

You'll be working as a member of the consulting team delivering for the end client and will need to be based on-site in KL. This will be an initial 6 month engagement with the option to extend into a multi-year contract.

Open to those already based in Malaysia, those ready to re-locate or individuals open to flying in and out each week.

Scope of work:

• Oversee day to day telesalesoperations with 100+ call center agents
• Coach agents on customer sales and service skillsets
• Support agile sales experimentations (i.e., new scripts, new offers, new tools)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders (i.e., call centrevendors, in-house remote sales management team, product teams and technology teams)

Skills / Experience needed:

• 5–8 years’ experience in telesalesor call centremanagement (at least 2 years in a team lead or manager role)
• Experience in telecommunications, broadband, or financial services preferred
• Track record of leading high-performing sales teams (50+ agents).
• Experience working with outsourced vendors or BPO environments is highly advantageous
• Strong command of English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin or Tamil is a plus
• Demonstrated comfort working on short-term contracts or agile pilot projects.
