Our client, a global consulting firm, is currently executing a digital transformation initiative for a leading public sector organization based in Mumbai. The project aims to modernise and digitise core business and technology systems, driving process efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced citizen service delivery.
To support on this initiative, they are currently seeking an ex-MBB consultant with prior experience managing multiple banking & financial services projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the client engagement on behalf of the consulting team, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
- Drive digital and technology transformation initiatives, from strategy design to implementation.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, facilitating seamless execution of digital programs.
- Manage cross-functional teams and oversee all project governance, tracking, and client communication.
- Support the client in defining KPIs, setting up digital roadmaps, and ensuring adoption of transformation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in top-tier consulting firms (MBB, Big 4, or equivalent).
- Proven track record of leading technology or digital transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience, preferably in large-scale transformation contexts.
- Educational background from top-tier institutes (IIT/IIM or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive teams and influence senior stakeholders.
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract with a high possibility of an extension. The selected consultant will be required to be based in Mumbai for the entire duration of this contract.
