Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a government entity in Bangladesh on a live technology transformation engagement. The project involves overseeing the development of a complex, web-based, high-performance application, designed to streamline workflows, business rules, data management, and security across multiple user groups.
As part of this mandate, the consulting firm is seeking to onboard a Tech PMO with a strong architectural and development understanding of large-scale, containerized web applications built using modern technologies and microservices-based architectures.
The consultant will play a critical role in reviewing architecture and design, resolving development challenges, and ensuring technical soundness throughout the implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the technology workstream for a complex web-based app development program.
- Conduct detailed reviews of solution architecture, design, and integration frameworks.
- Support the development team in resolving key technical bottlenecks and architecture issues.
- Ensure best practices in application performance, scalability, and security are followed.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including client technology teams and consulting firm experts, to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor progress and maintain alignment with overall project timelines and objectives.
Your Background
- 5 to 15 years of experience in technology program management, architecture review, or web-based app development.
- Strong architectural understanding of microservices-based applications, including containerization, workflow management, business rule engines (BRE), data platforms, and advanced security frameworks.
- Engineering graduate with a solid grounding in Computer Science or IT principles.
- Proven ability to manage technology projects in collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Exposure to government or large-scale public sector digital programs is a plus (not mandatory).
