Join an ASX-listed AI Marketing Technology Consultancy as a Data & Analytics Specialist. This is an exciting 6-month contract opportunity with strong potential to transition into a permanent position as the team continues to grow. In this role, you’ll partner with clients to strategise, implement, and optimise Google Analytics 360 (GA360), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), and data-driven marketing solutions that improve campaign performance and customer experience. Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, you’ll take ownership of technical discovery, solution design, and implementation — helping leading brands unlock the full value of their data. This role suits someone who is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working across both technical and commercial discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery sessions and audits of clients’ existing MarTech and analytics infrastructure.
- Define data and analytics architectures for GA360 and CDP implementations.
- Implement Google Tag Manager (GTM/sGTM) and analytics tracking solutions.
- Onboard clients to proprietary CDP platforms and deliver training to maximise adoption.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure strong data governance, accuracy, and hygiene through regular quality checks.
- Manage solution delivery in collaboration with Google Marketing Platform (GMP) teams and partners.
- Document and recommend enhancements to clients’ data and marketing technology stacks.
- Provide thought leadership across analytics, attribution, and measurement strategies.
- Lead customer data programs from collection to activation using modern cloud-based tools.
- Facilitate workshops and clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are a technically-minded marketer or data professional with deep experience in web analytics and marketing technology. You’re confident working with complex datasets and platforms like GA360 and GTM, and you thrive at the intersection of data, technology, and marketing strategy.
You enjoy solving problems, building scalable solutions, and helping clients improve how they collect, analyse, and activate their data. You’re equally comfortable getting into the technical detail and communicating with senior business stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience with GA360, GTM, and sGTM.
- Strong skills in JavaScript and SQL (Google BigQuery experience preferred).
- Experience in troubleshooting and testing web/app tracking and data layers.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, and related tools.
- Experience with programmatic analytics, attribution, and measurement methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Working knowledge of HTML and cloud technology (GCP highly regarded).
- Experience with CDPs (e.g., Wondaris, Tealium, Segment) desirable.
- Understanding of privacy legislation, third-party cookie deprecation, and the future of data in marketing.
