Our client is a tier-1 management consulting firm who are seeking a POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) Expert to provide guidance on best practices for managing suppliers—from creative agencies to production teams. The expert will advise on how procurement can enable Trade Marketing/Shopper Marketing teams to make informed decisions in selecting and managing POSM suppliers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise on POSM supplier management, including selection, oversight, and coordination with creative agencies and production teams.
- Share best practices for end-to-end POSM operations from both a commercial and technical perspective.
- Advise on optimizing procurement strategies to support Trade Marketing/Shopper Marketing objectives.
- Offer insights on supplier evaluation, negotiation, and risk management in POSM procurement.
Ideal Profile:
1. Supplier-Side Expert (Preferred)
- 10+ years in a top or leadership role in commercial or technical functions for POSM or shopper marketing services.
- Experience with companies providing end-to-end shopper marketing support e.g.:
- Tag
- ADM Group
- SGK Group
- Wellcom Worldwide
- Publicis
- Leo Burnett
2. Buyer-Side Expert (Alternative)
- 15+ years in shopper marketing within a leading CPG company (e.g., Mondelez, Mars, Nestle, Ferrero, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola).
- Experience working with creative agencies and production suppliers.
Location / Geography:
- Europe and Asia (first preference Europe).
- Fully remote engagement.
Engagement Details:
- Duration: ~3 months initially.
- Utilisation: Part-time, ~1 day/week for the first month, with potential ramp-up based on performance.
- Working Model: Remote.
