Our client is a boutique consulting firm based in Singapore. They are working with a major regional digital finance player, on a growth and go-to-market strategy project in Thailand & Indonesia. The project aims to provide actionable insights for market expansion and product growth, leveraging market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer survey analysis. The work will inform strategic decision-making and support investor or executive-level presentations.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and competitor benchmarking: product offerings, pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and regulatory context.
- Analyze customer survey results to derive insights on behavior, preferences, and adoption trends.
- Develop growth and go-to-market strategy options, tailored to local market contexts (Indonesia and Thailand).
- Synthesize findings into concise, executive-ready PowerPoint deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate assumptions and provide context-specific recommendations.
Consultant Requirements / Ideal Profile:
- Experience: Strategy consulting or growth/GTM advisory experience; exposure to commercial diligence is a plus.
- Industry: Strong background in financial services, preferably digital finance, consumer lending, or digital banking.
- Research Skills: Experience in market research, survey design, market sizing, or behavioural segmentation is highly valued.
- Analytical & Communication: Excellent synthesis, structuring, and presentation skills; ability to independently produce high-quality deliverables.
- Languages:
- Indonesia-focused work: Fluent Bahasa Indonesia + working English
- Thailand-focused work: Fluent Thai + working English
- Seniority Mix: Combination of mid-level (3–6 years) and senior (6–10+ years) consultants is preferred to balance execution capability and strategic input.
Engagement Details:
- Location: Indonesia or Thailand; ideally locally based for context-specific work, though hybrid or fully remote arrangements are possible.
- Working Model: Remote. Consultants should use own laptops; loan devices can be arranged if required.
- Duration:
- Indonesia: 2–3 weeks
- Thailand: 3–6 weeks
- Utilisation: Full-time (100%) during the engagement.
