Project Overview

Our client, a global consulting firm is working on a potential long-term public sector engagement with the Highway Maintenance Authority in Delhi. The initiative aims to build a nationwide digital monitoring system for highways and road infrastructure, driving efficiency, transparency, and data-led decision-making in maintenance operations.

As part of this high-impact initiative, they are looking to onboard a team of 15 civil engineers (a mix of junior and mid-level professionals) who will work closely with their consulting and client teams on the ground to enable the successful design, deployment, and operationalization of this program.

This is a unique opportunity for engineers passionate about public infrastructure and digital transformation in the transport sector to contribute to one of India’s largest infrastructure modernization programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support digital monitoring and data collection of highway and road assets across multiple project zones.
  • Work with project and client teams to ensure accurate documentation and field validation of road and pavement conditions.
  • Contribute to process standardization and workflow optimization related to highway maintenance and monitoring.
  • Ensure timely reporting and updates through the project’s digital platforms, dashboards, and field tools.
  • Assist in the coordination between client site teams, vendors, and project leads to ensure successful rollout and adoption of digital systems.
  • Participate in regular reviews to identify operational bottlenecks and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Your Background:

Education:

  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE/NAAC or affiliated to an Indian or global university of repute.
  • Must have a minimum of 75% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 and above.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in pavement, road construction, or highway projects (construction, maintenance, or monitoring). This is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Prior construction experience in other industries (residential, plant etc.) can also be considered.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong technical foundation in civil/construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with field data collection, QA/QC processes, or site monitoring.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work across consulting and government teams.
  • Open to working on-site in Delhi and travelling as needed for project implementation.
