Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading FMCG player in the skin and hair care category to strengthen its brand positioning and accelerate growth. The engagement covers end-to-end brand strategy, GTM execution, and sales expansion across General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and E-commerce.
The client is looking to onboard a Sales Consultant with experience in the FMCG industry who will be responsible for shaping and executing high-impact initiatives across marketing, sales, and branding. The consultant will play a key role in driving new launches, sales acceleration, and market presence, while working closely with senior client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and execute brand strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans for the skin and hair care portfolio
- Drive GTM initiatives and new product launches, ensuring execution excellence across GT, MT, and E-commerce
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify whitespace opportunities and optimize sales
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and influence
- Build and track performance dashboards to measure outcomes and ensure delivery of business impact
Your Background:
- Experience: 4–9 years of experience in FMCG and GTM strategy. Prior consulting experience is highly preferred
- Education: MBA from a top Indian B-school (IIM/ISB/FMS/XLRI/SP Jain preferred)
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, independent thinking, ability to handle senior client conversations, and excellent communication skills
- Sector Expertise: FMCG / Consumer Goods (mandatory)
Other Information:
- Duration: 12 months initially, extendable up to 2 years
- Location: Kolkata (weekly travel to client location required)
