Project Overview

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an Associate Consultant to join a critical risk management and technology transformation program. This replacement role requires immediate availability. The successful candidate will drive change strategy development, readiness assessment, and implementation planning within a 10-member project team. This is a long-duration engagement initially contracted for 6-8 weeks with strong extension potential.


The ideal talent will be an Associate-level (3-5 years) or Engagement Manager-level (5-10 years) consultant with management consulting background and proven expertise in organisational change and risk transformation initiatives.


Key Activities

  • Change Strategy Development: Design and build comprehensive change management strategy for risk management and technology capability transformation
  • Change Readiness Assessment: Evaluate organisational readiness for change, identifying key stakeholders, risks, and enablers across the business
  • Implementation Planning: Develop detailed delivery plans, timelines, and milestone frameworks to support successful program implementation
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and interviews with senior stakeholders to align on change objectives and secure buy-in
  • Team Collaboration: Work within a 10-member project team to coordinate change activities with technical and risk workstreams
  • Progress Monitoring: Track change implementation progress, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful adoption


Your Background

Essential:

  • 3-10 years of management consulting experience (Associate to Engagement Manager level)
  • Proven expertise in change management and organisational transformation
  • Strong background in risk management transformation or technology implementation projects
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and senior executive communication skills
  • Experience developing change strategies, readiness assessments, and implementation plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively within project teams and matrix environments
  • Immediate availability (within 2 weeks)

Desirable:

  • Big 4 or tier-1 management consulting firm background
  • Experience in financial services risk transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory change programs and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with technology capability uplift and digital transformation
  • Experience with large-scale organisational restructuring or operating model changes
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or change management credentials
