Our client, a global consulting firm, is supporting a leading building materials company to accelerate sales growth in select high-potential markets.
The client is looking to onboard a hands-on Sales Consultant with prior experience in the building materials industry to drive local sales strategy and execution in key priority markets across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the client’s local sales team in designing and executing growth strategies.
- Identify and activate growth levers in assigned priority markets.
- Develop sales tracking tools and performance dashboards using Excel.
- Build business cases and performance updates for senior leadership via PowerPoint.
- Travel to client priority markets and work closely with local teams to understand ground realities.
Your Background:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in B2C sales and distribution, ideally in building materials or FMCG industries.
- Experience of working on channel management, influencer management, sales force productivity tools/ ways of working.
- Exposure to consumer goods sales and channel strategy will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience in on-ground sales execution and distributor/channel engagement.
- Educational qualifications: Top-tier MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

- Project Duration: 12 months (extendable).
- Location: Calcutta. Travel to priority markets is expected across India.
