Our client Rand Mutual, is looking for an Accountant (CA or CIMA) to support for a 6-month period to cover year-end work. This role will be on a hybrid basis in Parktown, Johannesburg.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Finance Business Partnering
• Financial Reporting
• Management Accounting
• Reconciliations

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of post-articles experience
• Recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or a BCom Honours in Accounting/Finance
• Experience working in a regulated financial services company
• Exposure to or knowledge of life insurance is highly advantageous
• Understanding of IFRS 17 preferred
• Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical and financial planning skills
