Our client is a global leading payments firm who are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive growth and oversee strategic initiatives for their client’s issuing prepaid business. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to identify revenue and cost levers, develop actionable project plans, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives. You will also serve as the primary liaison for initiatives, collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities to grow the issuing prepaid business, with a focus on increasing revenue and optimizing costs.
- Provide data-driven insights to monitor overall portfolio performance and formulate effective strategies for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Develop and prioritize initiatives, including resource planning and cost-benefit analysis, required to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with the client to create detailed project plans, outlining timelines, dependencies, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of initiatives, coordinating with various client departments and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for all payment network related initiatives within the program, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
- Track project progress, prepare status updates, and report on milestones to executive stakeholders across all parties.
- Proactively identify risks to project launches, engage necessary support, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience within payments, fintech, banking, or related industries.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience developing and executing comprehensive project plans.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Familiarity with prepaid card issuing or payments ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
