Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is supporting a major bank in Sri Lanka on a large-scale transformation program. This program spans multiple critical areas within the financial services sector, including Go-to-Market (GTM), digitisation, risk & credit management, and collections. To drive execution on the ground, the client is seeking Strategy Consultant with prior experience in the BFSI industry to join the team in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with client stakeholders to execute end-to-end transformation initiatives in banking operations and strategy
• Drive workstreams across digitisation, GTM, risk/credit, and collections, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Lead client discussions, prepare presentations, and provide analytical support
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day problem solving
• Act as a bridge between client teams and the consulting firm’s leadership

Your background:

• 5 to 12 years of experience, ideally within:
• Top consulting firms (strategy or implementation)
• Financial services / banking sector transformation projects
• Proven exposure to client-facing project management, execution, and delivery
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

Education:

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution (preferred)

Other Details:

• Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (must be a Sri Lankan citizen; relocation support possible within Sri Lanka)
• Duration: 12 months to start, with a strong possibility of extension up to 36 months or conversion into a permanent role
• Engagement Type: Full-time, on-site with no intercity travel is required – role is primarily Colombo-based
